Who is David Gravesen?
Currently David is a trombonist with the touring Christian Brass Ensemble, Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass, which
takes up about half the year. When not on tour, he resides in
Frisco, Texas where he plays on a freelance basis, teaches private
lessons, and writes music for the King's Brass and whoever else needs
something written. David also can be seen playing at Stonebriar
Community Church in both the orchestra and the brass quintet.
David's primary teachers were Jim Pugh and Dr. John Drew. Notable
performances include: Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass, the EOS
orchestra, Manhattan Transfer, and at the New York Brass Conference.
